Where do the tours start?
All our tours start at Hack Kampmanns Pl. in Aarhus C. We start right by the Poseidon statue. It is next to DOKK1, close to where the cruises come in and very easy to spot. The guide will be waiting and wearing a sign that says "Guide".

What attractions do you cover?
Each tour is different and we make no guarantees that a certain attraction will be visited any given tour. However, as a general rule, we will during the 3-hour tour strive to cover Dokk1, Marselisborg castle, institut for X, the memorial park, Frederiksbjerg, Aarhus town hall, Aarhus concert hall, Aros art museum, Latin quarter, the cathedral and Aarhus theater.  On the 1.5-hour tour you can expect to see just about half of the above mentioned attractions. However, if there is a certain sight or attraction that you would really like to see, please feel free to ask the guide before the start of the tour.

What level of biking-skills is required?
In order to participate on one of our tours, you must have experience in riding a bicycle. All are welcome, who can bike at a fairly slow pace in a foreign urban environment. These tours are by no means designed as a type of workout. All tours will be at a fairy slow and steady pace, in order for you to appreciate the surroundings.

Is it safe to bike in Aarhus?
Yes. When you arrive in Aarhus you will quickly discover how bike-friendly the city is. The main concern in terms of bike-safety, when doing a tour with us, is the other cyclists around you. Before the start of our tour, we will go through a couple of basic safety-rules to follow when we hit the road.

Do you provide helmets?
We do provide helmets. During booking, you are able to choose the amount of helmets you would like. We charge 20 DKK per helmet.

Will there be food and beverages on the tour?
We do not serve either food or beverages on the tour, however you are more than welcome to bring your own with you, as long as you are able to bike. By the stops it will be possible with small breaks, for snacks.

Are children allowed on the tour?
No. The tours are not suitable for children or people with poor health.

What if it rains?
Here in in Denmark, we are used to the unstable weather conditions and we will have the tours regardless if it rains. We will provide rain-ponchos to you before the tour.

What kind of bike will we ride on the tour?
For the tour, we provide comfortable traditional Danish bicycles that are easy to handle. They’re reconditioned bikes, fixed in the creative community close to where we start the tour - doesn't get any more danish!

Do I have to book in advance?
Yes, all tours must be booked in advance. You can either choose to pay at the time of your booking or wait with payment until before the start of the tour. We only accept cash payments if paying just before the tour so please have the cash ready.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations requested at least 7 days in advance of the scheduled departure are refunded in full. Cancellations requested between 3 and 6 days in advance of the scheduled departure are refunded 50 percent. Cancellations requested within 2 days of the scheduled departure are not refunded. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to
